Hair Talk: Senegalese Twists

I did these Senegalese Twists with wine highlights. Yum! I actually have three packs of X-pression extensions in 3 different colors; black, brown and wine. I had been craving this type of braids (actually braids in general) really bad. Unlike my beloved kinky twists, these cannot be washed. In fact any contact with water is destruction so you’ll want to avoid it as much as possible.

I’ve never used this color of highlights before so I can gladly add wine to my list (purple and blue being the other two). Looking forward to many more color combos.
Braid sheen: I recommend Sulphur 8 Braid sheen
A brush to smooth out rough edges.

If you’re not already following my Instagram or Facebook page, you should head over the now. There’s something French-y going on haha!

À bientôt!

  1. Gorgeous. The hair extensions look great on you. I've never done it with mine, I am afraid I am bad at taking care. I've never tried any fancy and they're already damage many times. However I am always amazed with hair styles like that. By the way, congrats to your first year! The previous post looks wonderful experience you had. 🙂

  2. Thank you! You should try it cause you'll never know if you don't. It's relatively low maintenance so it's a good protective hairstyle. All you really need is oil sheen, braid sheen, a hair brush and a good hair net 🙂

I'm glad you enjoyed the post! It was a great 1st year 🙂
